Lie detectors are used all the time. Are they 100% accurate, no. What if you had 100 people in a room and something went missing. You give them all lie detector tests and only one fails and 99 pass. You would ask:

That's why ever high sensitive government agency uses them. They are in a tool. In the example I gave it would be considered almost 100% accurate.

They use all sorts of unreliable methods since they can incentivize honesty. Even in such a case it would be inadmissible. Why?

It is not uncommon for someone after the passage of time to become either more sure or more uncertain of what actually happened. A potential scenario would be that she started remembering incorrectly but after hearing her accusation he can think to himself maybe something happened when I was so drunk that I remember nothing of it. This can cause a polygraph to yield result opposite from the truth.

It is telling that all your posts are against her and for him. The same with others here. I am the one so far that hasn't took a position because not enough is known. But go ahead and paint me as not being objective.

There was a story a while back where a Rebbi was convicted of abuse based on the childs vivid testimony
and it came out that while the the abuse definitely happened it was by a different person and the childs memory because of the abuse and because of the threats exchanged the guilty person with someone totally innocent
the child passed every lie detector test with flying colours and the Rebbi didn;t .... (IIRC it was a Crown Heights story)

not saying thats what happened here but it for sure could have
