I didn't read the last few pages, but seeing how all these democratic senators come out with these crazy we totally believe her statements makes me wonder, with all due respect to the me too movement which is actually a good thing, who wants to join me in creating the "due process" movement with a banner "stop destroying people's lives"

How about we start a "please investigate" movement? That would then be fair to the accuser and accused.

Without her willingness to testify it seems likely that there will be another SCOTUS justice who will understand that all too well.

+1 . when a lady can make up a story however she wants with the right to a investigation , the accused life is ruined whether the accusation is founded or not, simply on the say so of one person

She most definitely should be heard. My understanding is that the calls for an FBI investigation are nothing but blather.

No, a fair investigation is the only fair thing to do by the rules we are governed by. If you can't understand that basic principal then you are to far gone.

So far it seems everyone that has commented on this except me is against a fair investigation into the woman's accusations. Lets try and figure out what you all have in common. You think we need an investigation to figure that one out?

But the roles seem not to be for this to be done by the FBI. You have not addressed this at all other than to evade by saying smokescreen. That is not an honest conversation when you accept one side without question and dismiss the other with no apparent reason.

The reason the FBI is mentioned because most people believe they would be fair. I have no problem with any fair investigation. Lets be honest here. I am the one who has constantly accepted the results of these investigations, not you.

i dont have a good answer , but the way it stands now that a lady can wake up 35 years after an alleged story happens and derail a persons life just seems wrong.
