Yes. I do not feel that an accuser who has provided no details and refused to testify even to staffers at her attorney's office should be allowed to derail the nomination just by waiting to the last minute.

Seems you are more worried about this nominee on the court than finding out the truth. If the FBI would have been instructed to look into this the investigation could have already been over just like the Hill investigation.

But if within the statute of limitations it absolutely should and would be investigated by law enforcement.

I just pointed out how it was done for Hill. If it takes two weeks or more it still doesn't change anything unless you want this nominee on the court no matter what.

It can be investigated by senate staff. For this matter the FBI is only a tool of the president's and not a criminal or senate investigator.

I am very open about my opinion. I do not feel a vague accusation by someone unwilling to testify should derail the nomination.
BTW, Senate staff include Dem staff who are very motivated to find guilt.

That is correct, altough i do agree that I like everyone else in the world is affected by biases. Those who do not realize this are the most biased ones out there.

The only problem is your statement is not backed up by facts. Now if you said she was unwilling to testify if she does not get an FBI investigation then it would be supported by the facts.
