Thread summary:

Trump walks in a room.

1. Moshe123 shoots at him because he is pure evil, 2. ilherman+hachover jump in front of the bullets because Trump is our savior. 3. aygart tackles Moshe123 because Trump is better than HRC, 4. but Baruch can't stand Trump so he tells aygart he's crazy and Trump is a madman. 5. ExGingi would like to point out that who cares what he is, all that matters is the supreme court nominations. 6. Dan and others aren't really sure how this makes them feel plus they don't really want to drink poison. 7. Spoiler alert: Moshe123's gun was empty, it was just a blank.

And Freddie is in the back of the room just cooking his cholent. Until he announces that there are TWO menu choices, Pareve Cholent or Vegetable Lasagna. While etech0 figured out that they are both poisoned.

Repeat x100.

And then Hilary walks into the room with the most confidence a candidate has had in recent history. She is so confident that she eats both the Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna. Everyone is the room is aghast, they don't know how this happened, could it be Comey is behind this poisoning or was it that her Obamacare premiums were to high to get her the help she needed.

Everyone stared as she choked and was cast into oblivion on November, 8, 2016 the last day she was heard from in the public eye.

Moshe123, ilherman, hachover, Baruch, ExGingi, Dan, Freddie, etech0, and the rest of America are in total shock and hope that so long as Trump doesn't eat any Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna and stays true to his supreme court nominees this may be the greatest thing to happen since the CSR and GC's.

But remember this may be the beginning of the end...

P.S. Thanks to cognitive dissonance aygart, Michael Moore, and Scott Adams knew the whole time that Trump could win, unfortunately for JTZ he may be off DDF for the next 4 years due to his mandatory 3 times daily consumption of CROW!

As things turns out, the most prescient view on this election was that of Michael Moore! Though Scott Adams is also claiming a high view level of prescience.

Ironic how these things work. You win but you will lose. The D's are going to be p*ssed and will turn out in droves for the mid-terms.
Ur funny
1) this saga unified Republican just as much, if not more, than Democrats
2) the GOP handled the situation more or less the best they could have. Aside from DJT stupid comments and having 'only' a 1 week FBI investigation, there was nothing more that could happened
3) furthermore, the GOP seemed sincere in getting answers while the Dems clearly we're using this woman and the entire situation for their own political gain. Anybody that is honest with themselves (yes, plenty of Dems are honest quite often) saw that clearly and if anything got turned OFF by their own party.
Sach Hkoal-
-court of law, he would be innocent (no proof that he did anything or was involved)
-politically, he is innocent (he's about to be voted onto the SC)
-public opinion, he is innocent (check the midterm polls from today and compare it to two weeks ago)
But yeah, you could convince urself that this is a win. Enjoy it now. If I was a betting person, I would bet ur in for a big surprise in a month.

You drinking the Kool-Aid to? I am not convincing myself of anything. I am just stating what has happened in the past. It is human nature to be complacent when things are going your way.

Maybe it is kool aid, but every single poll I saw over the last week has shown improvement for the Rs. The D's were pretty motivated before this whole thing and get reminded with every stupid tweet. It is the Rs who had been complacent and have now woken up. What remains to be seen is if this can last the month.

While we will find out in Nov, I would say the following

The D's are furious at Trump and have beat the Rs on energy and turnout the entire year. This is another bump.

The Rs have ber lackluster at best. This has galvanized them and energized the base.

IMHO a bump isn't as good as energizing a lackluster base and making Gap smaller. Additionally the Rs usually have a better turnout in Midterms as is. But we shall see

i disagree, had the Dems somehow blocked kavanaugh then i think the Republican turnout would have been very high and that was being displayed in the recent polls but now that he got through i think most of those gains in the polls will disappear come election day. This process definitely energized the right but i just don't think it has staying power. The outcome will motivate the left and they didn't need much more motivation

I’m just curious, now that he’s in the Supreme Court,
when do all the millions of people start dying? Did it start yet?

Senate is a poor representation of the country. House is a lot more accurate as a whole on how the people feel.

1. That's not the point, the question is regarding election results.
2. It seems to Indicate that in red States the Rs got a bounce while blue states the D's got
