The fact that it wasn't made public, just indicates that there's still professionalism in the administration where it really matters. As I've said elsewhere, I've given up on figuring out Trump, but I don't dismiss him. He seems to know how to navigate and control the media while advancing his agenda. It's the outcomes that count at this point.

i think it was probably a combination of 1, 2, and 3 with a couple of other motivations as well. It's actually a smart political move as well as good for her mental well being.

An angry mob deserves to be called an angry mob. If all that happened on capital hill around the kavanagh confirmation is not an angry mob, then I'm not sure what is. They were NOT peaceful protesters, they are an angry mob who harasses anyone who dares disagree with them.

I don't think anyone really knows what the exact trigger is. There are obviously many things at play. The FED is surely satisfied with long yields rising, as it gives them more room to raise on the short end without inverting the curve. (I don't think anyone can claim that an inverted curve is a cause for a recession, but it's the most accurate predictor of one, and the masses don't really distinguish between correlation and causation).
