Thread summary:

Trump walks in a room.

1. Moshe123 shoots at him because he is pure evil, 2. ilherman+hachover jump in front of the bullets because Trump is our savior. 3. aygart tackles Moshe123 because Trump is better than HRC, 4. but Baruch can't stand Trump so he tells aygart he's crazy and Trump is a madman. 5. ExGingi would like to point out that who cares what he is, all that matters is the supreme court nominations. 6. Dan and others aren't really sure how this makes them feel plus they don't really want to drink poison. 7. Spoiler alert: Moshe123's gun was empty, it was just a blank.

And Freddie is in the back of the room just cooking his cholent. Until he announces that there are TWO menu choices, Pareve Cholent or Vegetable Lasagna. While etech0 figured out that they are both poisoned.

Repeat x100.

And then Hilary walks into the room with the most confidence a candidate has had in recent history. She is so confident that she eats both the Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna. Everyone is the room is aghast, they don't know how this happened, could it be Comey is behind this poisoning or was it that her Obamacare premiums were to high to get her the help she needed.

Everyone stared as she choked and was cast into oblivion on November, 8, 2016 the last day she was heard from in the public eye.

Moshe123, ilherman, hachover, Baruch, ExGingi, Dan, Freddie, etech0, and the rest of America are in total shock and hope that so long as Trump doesn't eat any Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna and stays true to his supreme court nominees this may be the greatest thing to happen since the CSR and GC's.

But remember this may be the beginning of the end...

P.S. Thanks to cognitive dissonance aygart, Michael Moore, and Scott Adams knew the whole time that Trump could win, unfortunately for JTZ he may be off DDF for the next 4 years due to his mandatory 3 times daily consumption of CROW!

As things turns out, the most prescient view on this election was that of Michael Moore! Though Scott Adams is also claiming a high view level of prescience.

A lot of "firsts" happened this election. Who is the party of inclusion? The R's better wake up or get blindsided like the D's did.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/a-night-of-firsts-the-candidates-who-made-history-in-the-2018-midterms/ar-BBPqIHG?ocid=spartanntp

They missed the first Korean woman elected to congress. Can you guess from which party? (Let me give you a hint, she is going to be completely ignored as a "first")

The only thing you actually know about my upbringing is your own stereotypes.
What stereotypes do you feel I have?

What does that say about those who elected her?
The same that can be said about the people who helped Marx get into power.

Now I am really confused. Are you saying I am the type of person that elected her? I am just trying to understand your view and for some reason you are afraid to state it. If you don't want to state it that is fine but please stop with the silly word games.

That is your answer for everything. They all do this or they all do that.
One party is increasingly becoming the party of old white men. I wonder why that plays so well on this forum, not!!!  :)

I'm 33, younger I voted R because of Israel. But stuff like school vouchers were huge to me this election (I have no kids)

The unfairness that the frum community has to shoulder this burden, the constant whining by the public school system that they don't have enough money yet they fail to educate kids properly.

My sister voted Gillium because she wants Medicaid, she's 21 with nothing but a basic HS degree and works as.. a teacher in Jewish private schools and she's a moron and I told her so.

So young people often are idiots, the same people that racked up 100k in school loans vote for the party that calls to wipe it out.

No body racks up high student debt going to state / county college.

So you lived the good life for 7 years and didn't work.. we should pay the bills?!?

Overall a big night for Trump

There have only been 5 times in the last 105 years that an incumbent President has won seats in the Senate in the off-year election.

Liberals are out of touch.
A democracy is a form of government, not an intrinsic truth

While I don't think the midterm elections are about the SCOTUS at all, having a more solid majority in the senate bodes well for the prospects of the next confirmation vote. Now we just have to hope that the old witch vacates her seat on the bench, sooner rather than later.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
