This is very true. I think once people realize this, there will be much less Koolade going around. Now you might jump on me for this, but it appears that people (especially the media) rush to make these events about white supremacists, even though a significant portion of them aren't, and are in fact perpetrated by leftists. This might be what is causing some (otherwise generally rational) people on the right to have a knee jerk reaction the other way. Regardless, as mentioned before, making this about politics is pointless, and in fact ensures that we will get nowhere.

I don't jump on anyone who uses logic. Here is the major problem. If I say White Supremacist most here automatically assume I am talking about R's. I don't care what party they are from or what color they are. They need to be called out for what they are.

we can be against white supremacy and everything they believe in at the same time as we are critical of the media's coverage of these terrible acts and how politicians have used them for their own agendas.
I have not been happy with how Trump has handled previous white supremacy acts but i think he spoke out well against them the other day. I also hate how the media and many others have conflated being a trump supporter with supporting all the ideas of other Trump supporters. Just because someone has supported Trump does not mean they condone racist and bigoted actors. And i say this not as a blind Trump guy but as someone who likes some of what he has done and hates many other things that he has said and done.
Enough is enough, this country used to rally together after terrorist acts and tragedies. 99.9% of the country is against the people who believe in hate and think that these attacks were warranted, so let's stay together in fighting them.

Like I said before this is not a left / right issue. When Trump mentions white supremacist once along with two other groups that is not addressing the issue well. He needs to call them out as terrorist as he has done with other groups.

Terrorist has a definition. I don't think any of the recent perpetrators of mass shootings fits the definition.

You don't think they are domestic terrorist? Trump calls Antifa terrorist but not white supremacists. You don't see a problem with that?
WS uses violence to kill and murder minorities. Antifa uses violence to combat WS, racism, anti-Semitism and Trump supporters. There seems to be a big difference between the groups.

of course it's terrorism. What definition are you using? There is some debate about the definition but i don't see how these acts (especially the El Paso shooting) don't fit any definition that I've seen

i would love if he did that too. Don't think it's absolutely necessary though, he has called them out in a definitive manner. Yes, he threw in antifa for his supporters but i don't have a problem with that, antifa is a terrible organization as well, it doesn't take away from the unequivocal denouncement he made about WS.
