She was very emotional and upset and he calls her a "happy young girl". That was a compliment and not mocking? I guess you feel he wasn't mocking the disabled reporter some time back.

You cant play both sides of this. Why is that so difficult for you to see. If she is a child then why do we give credence to her hystrionics? If she is to be treated as an adult then she is open to all forms of adult treatment, including mockery. This false narrative that she is only so much of an adult as we can use for our agenda is the mockery.

Furthermore, she sailed across the Atlantic alone in a boat. Even assuming arguendo that he did mock her (and I do not concede that point) one would assume she could handle this sort of mockery.

Bottom line: To use an old Jewish expression, you want to pull the rebbe out of your pocket when you need him. It doesnt work that way.

I am talking how our SCUMBAG president is mocking this teenager. You feel that is ok and you are defending this SCUMBAG. That says a lot about your character. No I can address anything. I am not going to get into a climate change debate. My point from the beginning has been he is a SCUMBAG for mocking a teenager. You agreed with his mocking and tried hopelessly to twist that into it wasn't mocking. When you defend a SCUMBAG for the mocking it reflects on ones character. That is a fact. If there is something you would like to address honestly in what I just said go right ahead. Throwing in smokescreens like HRC/BO is not going to cut it.

How hard is it to read some background (not just you, seems like most in this thread)? It's not like she spoke to the UN General Assembly. It was the during a panel at the UN Climate Summit. Many activist of many different ages participated, and I'm sure many scientists did as well. As far as her age, they did a whole youth day as part of the summit as well. She's fairly established as a youth activist, with her involvement in getting the youth strike movement (Fridays for Future) off the ground.
