It is a legitimate question to ask if the intent was there. When the perp of the Sat night attack in Monsey was connected with a previous stabbing that is what made it clear that the previous one was racist too. Asking what makes the first stabbing racist was a legitimate question until the intent was shown. Here too it is legitimate until the intent is shown.

There was no birther movement against McCain or Cruz. It was done against the last president because of his race, period!!!. If you cant see that then you are part of the problem. Even after the BC was produced it continued and then switched to he was Muslim.

I don't disagree about the movement itself, but it needs an explanation of how we know that it had racial undertones in order to label it as racist. Even then, that only tells us about the movement in general and not necessarily about each individual who brought it up as a part of their entertainment routine or who may not have understood the racial undertones. Therefore the difference between someone asking about why birtherism is racist and someone asking about violent attacks is the difference between night and day.

(I have not listened to Rush Limbaugh in over 20 years so I do not know one way or another about him)

Why do you keep bringing in violence when I didn't say "violent attacks". You want to frame this as violent attacks vs non-violent attacks. They are both (attacks against the last president and attacks against Jews) born out of racism (anti-Semitism). Does that mean 100%? No but close enough. Then when you throw in all the other racist remarks Trump and Rush made it is 100%!!!

I'm sorry if I misunderstood you. If you meant some current non violent attacks on Jews that is not what most would think is being referred to considering the many recent violent attacks. Which current non violent attacks are you referring to?
