Thread summary:

Trump walks in a room.

1. Moshe123 shoots at him because he is pure evil, 2. ilherman+hachover jump in front of the bullets because Trump is our savior. 3. aygart tackles Moshe123 because Trump is better than HRC, 4. but Baruch can't stand Trump so he tells aygart he's crazy and Trump is a madman. 5. ExGingi would like to point out that who cares what he is, all that matters is the supreme court nominations. 6. Dan and others aren't really sure how this makes them feel plus they don't really want to drink poison. 7. Spoiler alert: Moshe123's gun was empty, it was just a blank.

And Freddie is in the back of the room just cooking his cholent. Until he announces that there are TWO menu choices, Pareve Cholent or Vegetable Lasagna. While etech0 figured out that they are both poisoned.

Repeat x100.

And then Hilary walks into the room with the most confidence a candidate has had in recent history. She is so confident that she eats both the Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna. Everyone is the room is aghast, they don't know how this happened, could it be Comey is behind this poisoning or was it that her Obamacare premiums were to high to get her the help she needed.

Everyone stared as she choked and was cast into oblivion on November, 8, 2016 the last day she was heard from in the public eye.

Moshe123, ilherman, hachover, Baruch, ExGingi, Dan, Freddie, etech0, and the rest of America are in total shock and hope that so long as Trump doesn't eat any Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna and stays true to his supreme court nominees this may be the greatest thing to happen since the CSR and GC's.

But remember this may be the beginning of the end...

P.S. Thanks to cognitive dissonance aygart, Michael Moore, and Scott Adams knew the whole time that Trump could win, unfortunately for JTZ he may be off DDF for the next 4 years due to his mandatory 3 times daily consumption of CROW!

As things turns out, the most prescient view on this election was that of Michael Moore! Though Scott Adams is also claiming a high view level of prescience.

can you imagine a debate between Trump and Biden, personally i think it would be too cringey for me.

I think Biden's family not pulling him out of the race ASAP should qualify as elder abuse

@CountValentine did you hear the latest pearls of wisdom from Madame “mumble” Pelosi?
I’m not sure if I should laugh or cry. So sad that our country has come to this

The DNC should be locking her up and having Bloomberg run. Trump will have a huge lead the way this is going
As somebody who thought Trump would beat Clinton, I think anybody who thinks Trump is winning 2020 is delusional

seriously. Why are you so sure.
Give me some good reasons don’t just say COVID
Do you really not think his voters will turn out for him and we see enthusiasm for voter registration was higher for republicans than dems (mostly bc R’s were doing in person registration gatherings hitch are more effective, and D’s were more careful to social distance and do more online-less effective)
nothings impossible- the word itself says Im possible

Republican registrations are higher than D this year, bc D’s has been registering since 2016 & R only before these elections.

Ultimately Trump won bc Democrats thought Clinton would win anyways and she was disliked (particularly by women). Biden has record turnout and his favorability polls are 20-30% higher than Trump. It also doesn’t hurt that Trump’s Covid management was a colossal failure and people have more time on their hands to vote.

Finally, I’m not making up my mind based on my own feelings but on cold hard data. It is far, far more definitive than 2016.

Republican registrations are higher than D this year, bc D’s has been registering since 2016 & R only before these elections.

How does that that explain the change in gap between the number of registered Republicans vs Democrats since 2016?

PA - 2016 D+892k 2020 D+749k
FL - 2016 D+327k 2020 D+134k
NC 2016 D+636k 2020 D+400k

Arizona is actually going the other way (towards Democrats).
AZ - 2016 R+145k 2020 R+97k

Finally, I’m not making up my mind based on my own feelings but on cold hard data. It is far, far more definitive than 2016.

As @YitzyS said;

There is an almost infinite number of ways to interpret numbers. There is demographics, early in-person voters, mail-in-votes, county breakdowns, and so much more. These various perspectives put forth by @PlatinumGuy seem sound, but so do the interpretations put forth by Republican pundits and media outlets.

Yes, there are indicators both ways, with polls being the simplest. But even thought there are many indicators posted here to show that Biden is winning in a landslide, there are many indicators that counter that narrative.

I'm not saying Trump is going to win. My personal projection is that Biden has the edge. But if Trump does win, I don't want anyone reading this thread to be too shocked.

As somebody who thought Trump would beat Clinton, I think anybody who thinks Trump is winning 2020 is delusional

Also, being correct in your 2016 prediction in no way guarantees you're correct this time around. May I suggest taking the over-confidence down a notch.
