View From The Wing gives a nice rundown on the new rules United is implementing.

Firstly, double open jaw or a stopover and open jaw on round trip awards.

Maximum mileage can be exceeded by 15%.

Good to see United coming more in line with Continental's generous award rules.

MPM is a bear.  Too bad they didn't match CO's no limit on that.
And as long as UA doesnt allow Asia transiting to go to the South Pacific they still trail CO by quite a bit.

I checked some dates on united and almost 7 different pairs came up the same
"sorry , no flights found for those dates"
