Honestly, i can only say for sure because i have a real one.
I don't know if i would have been able to tell if i didn't know any better.

The feel, no logo, no Hydroflask paperwork wrapped around it, "no shiny thing on the bottom" etc.
Just got it last night... I didn't use it because i realized it was a fake...

On my boat ride up the na pali coast, I was talking to one of the workers about hydro flask and she told me about the owner going through a messy divorce and that the now ex wife started her own business selling the exact same thing, the only difference is the thing around the cap. She said that this newer company is called fifty fifty because the wife had rights to half. Maybe its one of those?

Thats a nice story but it wouldn't be marketed as Hydroflask.

I think this was just a mistake in the listing. The item shipped with a label saying it's a thermoflask. After some arguing I got amazon to credit me without sending it back

I just checked it that company online. Seems to be even more expensive for some reason

I got mine yesterday. Has logo but no shiny thing on the bottom. Think it's just cuz it's not silver? I paid more than $20

Just got a blue one delivered, and you're right... No shiny thing on the bottom...

Sorry for misleading you to think they needed to have that, i guess only silver has it.
