Finally decided to write this.
Although much of this was inspired by DDF I would not call this the typical DDF trip. No fancy cabins and no five-star hotels, but figured since Y'all enjoy TRs I'll try and write one.
To begin, I flew CLE-LAS using a Frontier voucher I had from a cancelled flight. I know everyone hates frontier, but hey, it was free. There was actually a couple next to me, and it was the lady's first time flying. I told her "I'm sorry your first time is on Frontier" and then the husband got upset at me
Anyway, I actually somehow forced myself to sleep most of the flight and arrived at LAS. We proceeded to hertz to pick up our car. I had five star gold status from ddms post, but alas at 1 in the morning the gold counter is closed so we had to wait. I tried pusbing for an upgrade to convertible, but it was no-go, so after a lot of back and forth I walked out with Chrysler 200. (I had rented lowest level).
We proceeded to our hotel, The Stratosphere, which I had booked using Hotwire deals for $25 (iirc) and I basically crashed.
