If I wouldn't have known who Smisek was I would've assumed, from the content of this thread, that he's probably public enemy #1, perhaps some sort of mass murderer or jihadist. The celebration here is a tad extreme-he was just a guy trying to do his job, whether you think he was doing a good job at that or not. Just because Dan seems to have some intense loathing for the guy (for whatever reason, whether justified or not) this is a bit over the top.
Not that it makes a difference or it's that actually wrong in any way, it's just a bit extreme.

Well I read the current DDMS post as well as many others in the past.
Unless he committed some major crimes I'm unaware of, what it comes down to is that he's trying to make money for his company. Agree with his methods or not, he's not out to hurt you-he's out to help himself, just like anyone else.
