And then go back again to get what you forgot about...and then go back again to get the thing that connects the thing to the thing.

(there's a picture of that somewhere on the forums. Maybe here, http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=5396.msg1144765;topicseen#msg1144765
 but I couldn't locate it...

I use it and am very happy with it!
Keep in mind I live in Florida so I use lattice for the walls, I don't know how different it would be if you were using plywood.
The manual is very helpful as far as building instructions and the shopping list is also very clear.

I put the eight foot frames in my garage as is which makes it much easier to out together from year to year.
Also I have a friend who bought his own braces from lowes and then followed the instructions and he told me that he found that he didn't really save any money.
It seems (at least a few years ago) that it is competitively priced.

Actually my current plan (which may very well change in the next 13 months) is to double layer the bamboo Schach, so it'll be as close to insulated as possible
We do that at home, together with a 240V construction heating unit you barely know you're outside

I'm trying to eliminate the (noisy?) heater all together, I want to be able to warm up/cool the Sukkah via the house's climate control

In NY/NJ it can get quite freezing on Sukkos (and I sleep in the Sukkah too), besides I meant climate control in general, so either AC or heating

I bought this kit last year and built it with plywood. I painted the outside but not the inside and the wood got moldy and had to be thrown out. Kit itself was super easy though.

ETA: See the thread I started last year  http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=44676.msg905004#msg905004

BUY FIBERGLASS!!!
I dont care how much cheaper wood is at the end of the day you save days of work and probably $ too when you don't buy a new sukkah for the next 9 generations.
I'm not who you think I am.

I took the plunge and spen $1000 on a canves ezlock sukkah last year. Part was because I was living in a house that did not have a good place to store weed panels. Now that I moved and have plenty of accessible storage space- am trying to decide if it was worth the grand!
