it works for each one way
so for 150 change fee +36 in extra taxes (per person) , i got a biz ticket yyz-lax-jfk

if you had a ticket in coach and you were upgrading to business then you shouldn't of had to pay the $150 change fee, AA waives the change fee if you are upgrading the class of service

i had a one way tlv-yyz in j and one way jfk-tlv in j for 2 pax
i added yyz-lax to the first leg and lax-jfk to the second. total change fee for both $300 (plus 72 in taxes)

Select your preferred cabin.  On the calendar 700=coach, 1500=business, 2500=first.

if a ticket is available on ELAL for 700 then yiu can automatically assume that AA will give it to you for 45k?
