Just called them to ask if my card was eligible (and was having issues adding it to my Wallet) and they said that even the bonus cashback will post on the next statement and don't have to wait until the end of the promo. She mentioned no gift cards, but I'm going to give it a go and I'll report back once my statement closes.

Just went to CVS to buy gift cards but when I tried using Apple Pay, the CVS terminal said something the line of "contactless payment not allowed for this transaction." Anyone else experience this?

Yes, everyone who has ever tried to use Apple Pay at CVS. They don't accept Apple Pay yet even though their terminals looks like they do.

You can now buy Delta tickets with Apple Pay in the delta app. Any chance that in-app Apple Pay will receive the 10%?

And also officially not on gift cards, but most people are saying it's not going to be enforced. My Q is it easier to enforce on purchases made in-app than gift card purchases.

I would be very surprised if they thought you bought your delta tickets in store

But in general a online store will come up differently then in store as opposed to gc and regular purchases so therefore I would think that you won't get the %10 bonus

Statement closed today, but didn't receive the 10% cashback. Called them and it didn't seem like they knew that I purchased gift cards. They just said that it can take up to 2 billing cycles for the bonus cashback to appear. Still don't think it's a sure thing because when I called last week, the rep said that it should post on the next statement. Guess I'll see what happens on my next statement.

I would just keep calling every day and twice on Sunday.

Didn't call a million times. Called once to ask if my card was eligible for the 10%, and called today to ask why I didn't get the bonus. That's all. Don't think that's a big deal.

It is not a big deal. When they start posting unless you are living under a rock you will know about it. Ever blogger out there is trying to get the scoop.
