Has anyone seen this matzeiva? In Tzfas?

I once saw a different version of this story. Doctor told man he was going blind. So he memorized one mesechta. Didn't go blind. But continued reviewing that mesechta and wrote on matzeiva as such.

Can anyone verify either version or has seen the actual matzeiva?
