Anyone know of one?
Check Englewood Orthopedics.
have you heard good things about them? Also I am paying out of pocket - so insurance does not really matter
I've been going there 10+ years (not regularly) and have had great experiences. What specifically are you looking/going for. They have a great hand specialist (Anne Miller) as well as other top doctors in other areas.
Basically I dislocated my right pinky finger and it was out back wrong - So right now my finger is displaced and the tendon is torn as well
Try and get an appointment with Dr. Miller. She actually did ligament surgery on my thumb and i think it made me bionic. Even if you can't get her, the other doctors are great as well.
thanks. Is bionic good?
I can throw a football/baseball better than before (not sure if it is really true, but i feel great). Not like the kid in Rookie of the Year, but almost as good.
and was she expensive? or you did insurance?
I just called - they wont even let me pay out of pocket. Since I have an insurance they dont take - thats a first
Insurance. That's crazy. Maybe call and just say you don't have insurance.
Huca doesn't work when its the same lady in the office 20 mins later Ill have to call tomorrow. Though that may be tricky... I wonder if they would make you sign an affidavit?
Could be. I guess we can wait anxiously until you HUCA tomorrow.
have someone cal for you and have them use a different phone # then before
I'm not so worried about that, im more worried about signing that I don't have any insurance.
How can you sign? You have a problem with your pinky!
Dr doumas was highly recommended for for a tendon surgery
