The weird thing is that sometimes when I come back to the forums it looks like I'm signed in but then when i click on "NEW" it just takes me to the first page of the topic

OT, but im wondering, why is it that when I post a reply, the bulletin board and smileys are available, but when I quote someone's post, I don't have the bulletin board or smileys available, and if I want to enter a smiley I need to first 'preview' the post and then I can enter the smiley?

In other words you're asking why the "quick reply" isn't full-featured?

I have this since a few days on BB, firefox and chrome (different pc).

There is something that must have been touched a few days ago.

Rectify this, and problem is solved.

Just try restoring the php, html, etc (not sql) from a week ago, and see what it does.

(I'm sure with such a site you have auto-backups in place, or its being manually being 'backuped' every few days at least)

You could.
to quote the line right above the quick reply box: "You can still use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post." You just need to put it in manually instead of pressing a button.

Btw, you mentioned earlier about entering the smileys manually. How would that be done?

he means that ypuld copy all of the html.
if you enter : ) together

you automatically get a smiley

At first i thought it was overnight. I logged in this AM and have been on the same computer since. I just cam back to DDF and i was logged out.
