Two Reward CC's associated with the same Reward Program #

Couldnt find an answer anywhere on this.

If I have the Chase Marriott, and say my mariott reward # is 123456. Then I manage to get a second Marriott CC (whether from the US or some other country that I may reside) and I try associating it with the same reward # of 123456. Will it work?

You should be able to get them to have the same number.

im far more limited in experience, but i think the answer is no. if it's more than 24 months than it will work.

I cant see how 24 months would make a difference. Maybe you misunderstood the question.
The question is if a red flag will be raised on Marriott's system that a credit card is trying to be associated with a Marriott Reward # that is already associated to different credit card.

UPDATE: So it seems to have worked because today I received my free night certificate (Canadian Marriott Card offers free night cert and 30000 enrollment points after first purchase) on my marriott.com account today. Didnt receive the card though, should come soon.

Good question.

 "after first purchase" only applies to the 30000 points enrollment bonus. The free night cert is even without making a single purchase.
Something that is odd though, is that I see know that they also added 10000 enrollment bonus points to my account. Its strange for 2 reasons: I didnt make a purchase yet, and enrollment bonus is supposed to be 30K not 10K.

UPDATE: I received the additional 30K enrollment points. That's a total of 40K points plus a free night certificate for spending $1 on the card!
