Just got approved for BA after first applying for UA in branch . Recon on the BA was a breeze. Thanks Dan . Who said Chase is dead ?

Try getting a freedom or SP and let us know.

Have a CSP , and gave up two freedoms for the UA and BA cards .

I think what he is trying to say is, if you had applied for a new CSP or Freedom, even if you didn't have any, you would have gotten shot down with no chance of recon due to the new Chase rules.

What I was saying is that the problems people are having with chase is with their cards such as SP freedom INk etc. not co-branded cards like what you got.

I would argue strongly , that Chase in general has gotten more difficult across all lines.
The things I was told in Recon denial, I have never heard before .

They have definitely gotten more difficult but still doable, except on their own cards which are almost impossible.

shut down? they would shut down your accounts if you applied for more than 5 cards in 24 months?

Chase is going crazy. I have been pounding cards, so sure I have been blacklisted. But there are others as well who have been shotdown for 7 or less cards.

blacklisted is a strong term, they love me using their cards. It is called shutout - not shutdown or blacklisted. More like - hell no cards for u dude

Anyone have suggestion if I'm applying for the ba should i stay away from chase branded cards (saphire) in a 2 bm with the ba or just do a united and ba in a 2 bm?

Maybe one of each. Though depends what your CR looks like.

Longer than others. Chase has to confirm your FF# with BA. Then they get around to making your account.
