Hi, just wanted to check in and, with some chagrin, ask for a little spoonfeeding:
I booked two tickets on CheapoAir, BOS-YUL-CDG-YUL-BOS, early January, for $430 all in. Really happy!
I just made my seat selections on the Air Canada website -- they are calling these "Tango" fares, whatever that is.
It seems that they are unlikely to cancel if they are allowing me to make seat assignments.
My questions (request for spoonfeeding):
1. Should I get Aeroplan account(s) or credit to another SA carrier, say United?
2. Is there a way (what are the ways) to upgrade to J or F? (again, it's a "Tango" fare, and the ticket indicates Upgrade Status = HK.  Could I somehow transfer points/miles to Aeroplan and then upgrade that way? Other suggestions.

Good call on the miles.  At 163 a ticket, and earn 21k miles, it was basically worth adding the infant just to earn miles for him.

Noobish question, if booked thru Cheapoair, from LGA-TLV, how many miles would I expect to earn (100%? 25%?) and would I be able to just have them post to my united account?

I could have realy used this.
IIRC the first Norwegian Air glitch started Shabbos afternoon and the Israelis all had more than enough time to choose exactly which date they wanted without the pressure of it hitting DDMS, you win some you lose some...

I was in jeru out to dinner and phone died.. this time I had forgotten phone in friends car but bh I was by comp.. burned I didnt book 4 tix!
