Rental insurance must be declined in order for any credit card insurance to kick in. Besides if your contract includes the ldw from the rental company, why would they bother with a loss of use bill when they insured the car.
I rented a car Hertz in TLV, paid their insurance they have a policy that the first $450 of damage they charge you, I had damage they charged $450 to the cc I had cc insurance as well, the cc insurance covered the $450 without any problems
did you state to the credit card that you had accepted the rental coverage?
They asked for a million documents, I gave them everything, in the signed policy they clearly could've seen that I accepted the company's insurance
May have been a mistake on their part...
I know that originally they ask to decline the rentals insurance, but who says if you don't decline it that they won't cover it? As long you use their cc, why do you think it as a mistake?
Officially you must decline the rental company's coverage.
it includes ldw - but officially states that they charge for loss of use nonetheless - kind of like a corporate contract.
Never seen that before. Usually some contracts might have a deductible depending on what was negotiated, but nothing about loss of use. Which company is it?
Never seen it in any of my rental agreements.
