Question: Money Orders MS

Hi,
Im new here and new to Credit Card miles

Instead of using serve and the hassle of reloading why not just buy visa giftcards and use them to purchase money orders at the post office for like a buck, and than deposit into back account to pay off cc?

both post office and bank tried swiping my ov gc and didn't work       u sure it doesn't have to be a specific type of gc?

Don't post offices and banks code as cash advance, which doesn't work with VGC?
