Hub was updated today. It finally fixed an issue I had. Their app support by email is amazing.
Probably not very busy

I have them PRIV since November.

Device battery is not as good as its supposed to be, it doesn't last a full horse day.

Physical keyboard I RARELY use.

Device is pretty nice, hub has a lot of lag lately,  which is not good.

Virtual keyboard is great. If I can get the hub and keyboard on another device (I think they will do that eventually for a cost) I would go to S7 or Nexus.

I really miss BB10 it was such a great OS, I think BlackBerry really messed it up. They should have released a high spec device on BB10, not some odd passport or Classic (which I like) with 2008 specs.

You can get the hub on any device.

Anyone know if Hebrew physical keyboard is available for Priv?

I put my wife, who resisted a smartphone for years, but wanted WhatsApp on a Nokia E6 I bough for her in Israel. It's on it's last legs (besides for WhatsApp announcing that Nokia support will be discontinued) so I am looking to get her a user friendly alternative. She needs to be able to type in Hebrew and English.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Indeed. But not for Android. So it will be on the Priv

I am a VZW customer eligible for an upgrade.
I currently have a Galaxy S4 and I am very pleased. I have tried the S5 and don't like the configuration.
I used to have the BB Bold back in the day and was very pleased (other than the lag). The idea of a BB on Android with a physical keyboard intrigues me.
Samsung is currently offering a free smart watch with the purchase of a new S7. This seems like too good to pass on. However I feel that I really have to like my phone considering that I will have it for the next 2 years. A watch would be cool but it's the phone that I need.
The reviews on this thread yield mixed results.
Einstein, can you post a full review of the Priv?
Is the physical keyboard useful or annoying to use? How durable is the Priv? Does the phone lag? Does the Priv have any BB esque negatives? Is the battery as good on the Priv as it is meant to be? Is it clumsy at all? How long do you estimate the life of a typical Priv will be?

TIA

honestly there are quircks with the priv that I would like to see fixed, but that is the same with any phone, the only way to truly see which one is the best for u is to actually try them both... to be honast it took me a few days to get used to the keyboard, but now I have no isssues and wouldnt switch it for any other phone

Very durable device.
It's my first Android, the OS itself is fine, the Hub is pretty laggy sometimes.
It's a REAl Android phone, so the BB touch is only a +
It's not as good as they want you to think. I expected better. Or may be I use my phone too much?
I have mine for over 4.5 months and its as good as the first day.

Its great!
my whatsapps dont come into the hub right away and come in as separate entries even if its replies in the same chat/group.  Thats a little annoying.  Otherwise it is fantastic, been waiting for the hub to come to other phones since I lost my z10 and had to get an s6 because verizon didnt have any blackberrys in the store.

yup, until that is fixed I have removed whatsapp from my hub.  My other complaint is that there is no star or number on the hub icon when new messages come in.  I like that notification. Other than that I love having the hub.
I also installed the BB keyboard which I have been missing.  I gotta give it some time till it learns my typing patterns again but I am so much faster with it than swiftkey or swype.

How is battery life for you guys? Mine sucks lately. I downloaded an app called Advanced Task Manager, I hope it will work out. I travel sometimes for long hours with no charger, and this really sucks when my friend has an S5 with better battery life. Come on, it's a 3K MAH battery.
