Maybe if there's enough bad publicity stories about how old grandma won't be schlepping out this year in her wheelchair they could bring it back.

Kinda depends why they killed it in the first place... If it's because of abuse than highly unlikely...

Even in their point of view it shouldn't be the point of abuse it still costed them millions... That's a good enough reason they shouldn't do it again

It was hugely subsidised. They probably wanted more people involved than less people with hundreds of cards.

After going down to $10 in 2013 they went back up to $30 last year.

Big corporations like Amex don't make logical decisions. They take knee jerk actions to problems they see.
