Doesn't sound too good to be true, I'm a customer and pay about $8 a month for 5GB LTE and then unlimited throttled on my iPad.

What plan is that? Seems super cheap...

I'm locked in on the family plan at $100 for two lines promo, and I did the match your data promotion (which is good for another 12 months after the promo ends) for $10. I then have the employee discount through my school which gives me about 15% off, for some reason closer to 20-25% off for the data line.

I thought tmobile ended their employee discount program? Maybe you are grandfathered in?

The way the new program works is if your company gives you a tmobile phone on a business plan you can "link" your personal account to your work number and get 50% off the first 2 lines. Pretty neat. All of you people out there with 10 business lines from the tmobiledeal days should be able to sell that privilege to people for at least a couple hundred $ per line on your account. It does not create any financial link between your business lines and the personal accounts they are "linked" with.

Yes, if the company had a deal with them before they changed then it's grandfathered, now it's just a $25 for new businesses.

I'm on the fence for this one. Forget the data, anyone know if this is a good tablet?

I don't need a ton of apps, but enough memory to have some basic apps and do some basic work on. More than the memory issue, will it last? Decent quality? How is the screen size?

You can get refurbished or very old iPad models for under $200 and it will last 20/30 times as long as this will. You do the math.

I still stick by mine. I guess it's each to their own...
