Or get hired first by a firm that pays for your review materials. And then pays you for passing the exam.

If you go to a real college and don't try to scam your way into the business world via Brooklyn, it's not "easy" but it certainly isn't out of reach.

If you goto a "target school" you will have plenty of offers. When I start a few years ago, I had multiple offers.

Did you start pre-2008?
It is attainable though became much more difficult since then.

I started in '08. Definitely has become much more difficult but doable. I have assisted and coached college students in interviewing skills. Most of them have received offers as long as they had a decent GPA and possibly some extra curriculars.

currently studying for Gmats. i have a regular undergrad degree in a subject other than accounting. i see that some programs require certain amount of pre-req credits while others don''t. also noticed that some require a reccommendation from an acct prof. any way around this? do u have have any advice/info for applying to Masters programs? TIA

Re CPA licensure in NJ: I've heard from multiple people that for the experience requirement, one does not need to be actually employed by a CPA, It is sufficient if one works in an accounting related field, even private, and just be "under the supervision of a CPA".
Can someone please show me a link to an authoritative source on this that would satisfy a very " by the book" CPA.
