Advantage card/citigold checking bonus 50k offer

I have live chatted asking about my account and promotion.  Most recently I logged on to ask if they had my AA number.  The rep asked me for my promo code and I told her i left the mailer at home (true - i was targeted and still have the mailer) so she said she could look it up.  Sure enough she came back and stated my account was under promotion and they had my AA acct, she also described the terms of the promo. 

All this is to say you could live chat Gubevo and ask them the terms of the account promo (play dumb), get them to confirm the account is "under promotion" then screenshot.

And then what?
Even if you escalate to supervisors they aren't paying out anymore if you weren't targeted.

I also applied for 50k TY and points should have posted. I chatted, called, messaged. Finally I spoke to a TY rep who told me the points were put in my Premier cc account back in March. Sure enough, they were there.

Just 20 days shy of the 90 days, the 50k posted today. I met the requirements within a few days of opening the account because I opened at the end of the month.

after approx. 5 months and numerous emails they finally emailed me that they will be depositing the 50K points. Question is can I downgrade this account to a free account to avoid monthly charges, or do I specifically need the gold to save the $100 AF on the prestige?

Once the discount takes effect, downgrading it should keep the waiver.

My question is, i received this in the mail 2 days after canceling my citi thank you premier card. Is this offer connected with the credit card, and not available to me anymore, or is the cc, and the 50k for the checking account are not connected?

Check the offer to see if it says you need to have the card to be eligible.

THe offer was floating around here and on the web. I was from the last few that where able to still use the credit card to fund the account.

When u click on the number (50,000)it will say bank bonus.

But can they be used as cc TY points or are they only used as the banking TY points? I believe rep commented that if I transfer it to my Prestige, I would get better value.

Correct they do get more valuable when transferred to prestige. They will get 1.6 cpp on AA. They will not be transferable to airline miles.
