i was not targeted i signed up with the code i met the requirements points did not post i send s sm to citi and this was he response

I also did the alll proses and its almost 6 month and no points showed up not for me and wife they service suck.

They kept on pushing me off and now they are telling me that I need to fill out a W9 and then the points will post

Finally got my TY points. I was then able to then downgrade to basic checking and they even refunded me the $30 monthly service fee they charged me in May. I then transferred/combined them with my TY points with my premier cc and expiration date shows as follows:
December 31, 2018 450 Terms and Conditions CITIGOLD - Citibank® Checking Account
December 31, 2019 50,800 Terms and Conditions CITIGOLD - Citibank® Checking Account

next step to close basic checking account

Signed up on 3/17. Completed requirements on 4/29. AA points deposited on 6/14. I was targeted.

Alrighty I'm now 3/3 in getting it honored after filing CFPB complaints. The first 2 accounts I chatted, and "led" the rep to confirm the offer and then I printed the chat to PDF. The 3rd account I didn't get a real confirmation via chat so my CFPB complaint was denied. I proceeded to chat a couple more times until I got a "yes you should get your points" via chat. I then filed another CFPB complaint and got the points!!!

How long after the CFPB result do you see the TY points posted? On one account, I had it post after a day, but now (on a 2nd account), it still has not posted after several days. Thanks.

Usually posts around the first or second of the next month.
OT: the best thing to do with the points is transfer to prestige and use for paid AA flights @1.6 cents.
Or you can get walmart/amazon/... GC at a penny a point.
Evem better is to transfer the points to CC and then redeem for a check to your "student loan or mortgage lender" and just deposit that check in your account. 50k = $500 check

Instead of ordering GC you can transfer to CC and then redeem for a check to your "student loan or mortgage lender" and just deposit that check in your account. 50k = $500 check

the reason for putting 1.5k is to waiver the monthly fee for the lower account,by me the rep waived it for a month to give me time to deposit $(closed it anyway a little while later)

I closed the gold account by phone the moment the points hit. I had a few bucks left in it that i used toward a cc bill. I was never charged a fee.

yep and I wasn't charged a fee for my gold account passed 90 days either,citi can be interesting,but there is an official monthly fee

I'm coming up on 90 days too and no charge.
Officially was meant to charge after 60. Not asking questions.
