continental award flight change ?
« on: February 15, 2011, 01:25:51 PM »
My parents have award tickets which they booked a little while ago to Europe and are trying to add a stopover, CO told them that they charge a $50 change fee to do that (my father is only silver), can I add a platinum to the itinerary on a fully refundable ticket then do the change for free then cancel the ticket? or does anyone have any other ideas?

You can't "add" someone onto an itinerary.
$50/person seems very reasonable.  Most airlines would charge $150/person!
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
