I'm starting a new job on Monday and I decided against taking the time simply because I'd rather not lose the money.

I switched jobs this summer and took two weeks to spend time with the family, but I'm sure every case is different.

AJK takes a couple weeks to do jobs between his 187 annual flight legs/vacations.

I'm about 13 months between jobs right now and loving every minute..
