Try quoting the post that you told us to quote, and you'll see that the part you want is to see is not there. Complicated enough?

Solution: write it again, but like so:

[code]code for paragraph with hyperlink[/code]

Quoting only quotes what YOU said, not what you quoted.
Alternatively you can use [nobbc].

If you want to show someone how to code, if you just write for example:

 [b]this is how you make something bold[/b]

 it'll come out like this:

this is how you make something bold.

 So what you do is write like this:

 [nobbc][b]this is how you make something bold[/b][/nobbc] 

and then it comes out like this:

[b]this is how you make something bold[/b]

How about if I don't want to put the whole link is there a way for me to hyperlink a word? Say for example I want to link to a certain article on DD, but instead of having "Quoye from: http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/30333 ", I'd rather have "Quote from: DansDeals"

In other words; when you write a code the computer doesn't read it as text, it reads it as a command, [nobbc] forces the computer to read it as text.
