help needed swapping sprint phone

I have a sprint plan on a friends name, ny phone died and he doesnt remember the password set up on the account. He's out of the country and cant go in to the Store with id to try and change it. So is thete any way for me to swap the service to a different phone without the password *

Try 'forgot password' on-line.
If the account holder calls sprint, maybe he'll be able to provide enough proof of identity.

Oy. I had a friend who had the same prob, his uncle who the phones were under died. Took him a long time to get the account.
