Looking for good rolling briefcase
« on: October 12, 2015, 07:24:06 PM »
I was wondering if anyone would recommend something from personal experience that's similar to this:

I'm just concerned the capacity will be an issue, as it is for my other Solo briefcase. Once my tallis/tefillin go in, there's almost no room left for anything else.

I ended up getting this at Costco today for $65:
http://m.costco.com/Samsonite-Wheeled-Mobile-Office-Carry-on.product.100029096.html
It is no longer available from Costco. Is this what you were purchased? https://www.amazon.com/Samsonite-Business-Mobile-Office-Black/dp/B0000AHO9L

Anyone with any other suggestion? Need to carry heavy books along with laptop.
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

This is what I use:
Solo New York Bryant Rolling Laptop Bag. Rolling Briefcase for Women and Men. Fits up to 17.3 inch laptop - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WIOOVQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_zaRuDbJVK67WR

Nothing fancy but does the job.

I use that too and its pretty good for trips with laptop, seforim, tefillin and work materials all in one bag.

Bought mine in March 2018 when there were two coupons and it ran $29.99 plus tax.

what happened to the Samsonite you bought from Costco? Is the Solo better in some way?

I have narrowed it down to the Samsonite Xenon 3.0 Mobile Office Laptop Bag and the Solo New York Bryant Rolling Laptop Bag. Rolling Briefcase for Women and Men.
Has anyone tried both? I travel daily with textbooks and am wondering if the front of the Solo is big enough for a book? Is there some reason for the design of the front part being smaller that the back?

You mean this 2-pc Patriot and this Grenada?
I'm not sure the Grenada will be big enough for 2-3 textbooks and a slim laptop... which ones have you tried? How much stuff can you fit inside? What did you like about the Wegners? I also am a confused how the 2 pieces in the Patriot attach. (I find the Amazon listings of dimensions very confusing as they often show different dimensions at different parts of the listing.)
