The pyramids have been on the bucket list, but something about Egypt perturbs me
Nice TR. Thanks for sharing. The LM looks pretty. The pyramids have been on the bucket list, but something about Egypt perturbs me, more than say the UAE. The fact that the city and traffic are mayhem doesn't help either. Just adds to the lawlessness atmosphere. But I'm horrified by that her Hermolis meal which looks to contain mystery meat

Is that the once a day flight you were referring to? Or is there another airline that flies that route?
I had those same feelings until I spoke to people that went and I realized that there's not much to worry about. They are dying for tourists and everyone in the airport, hotel and tourist attractions were extreme friendly and helpful. There is tight security as well all around the tourist areas. My guide was unbelievable and I would highly recommend him if you go, he speaks a very good English. I'm not saying I would just roam around the streets of Cairo myself like I did in the UAE, but I didn't feel unsafe for a second the entire time I was there.
Any chance you still have the guides contact number, information, and or website?
I hope you understand the difference between now and 2017 regarding security in Egypt. If you follow the news that would help a bit...
