ADT Home Security
« on: October 21, 2015, 08:23:19 AM »
Does anyone have experience with using ADT? (or other home security companies)  Customer feedback for the company is mixed -- some love it while others wish they never signed up

TIA

Beware of the monthly fees. I pay $15 but some charge $30 or $40 and signup for two year agreement

Not a huge fan.  Make sure you know when your contract is up -- I didn't realize I had signed a 2 year deal and when I wanted to cancel, I was stuck.

Also, depending on what kind of system you have, you may run into Shabbos issues.  We had to have a special switch installed to turn off all censors (even when system is "off" the censors still flash when you walk by), and that cost a few extra hundred.

How did you get $15/month? Have a number to call?
