FAQ
When can I cancel?
If done in store, it seems SD reports rebate will be approved even when cancelled. So immediately.
Online...to insure you run in to no issues it is highly suggested that you wait 14 days before cancelling
How will trade-in be credited?

In-store you can (should) get it applied as a device down payment, bringing down cost of device to $150ish.
Online, you can get it sent to you as VZW gc

How long should it take for my rebate to be approved?
Reports are about a week

My trade-in is coming up as less than 300, what can I do?
Add a G4 (or any smartphone really) to cart and follow through, you will see value jump to $300. This is because the $300 is promotional value of ANY working smartphone. Appraisal value is what they would of given you before promo

You can cancel pretty easily by porting out to T-mobile prepaid (no need to ever use plan)

PSA: for those that bought $10-20 smartphones at bestbuy etc, Get price protection to cover.

Both Citi and Discover will price mach doorbusters etc.

Samples: ZTE Paragon: $4.99 on BF at Bestbuy

Alcatel onetouch pixi GLITZ: $1 at Dollar general

Other cheap phones look at this SD thread

You need to call in on blackfriday.

Just switch the phone settings from global to the middle setting. But u won't have Calling then

If you cancel now, your lines will be suspended until the end of the month, when they will actually cancel.

Unless by request a supervisor overrides and cancels immediately.
