I think it happens occasionally when the cashier makes some kind of mistake. I don't think it's necessarily going to happen again.

Here's one of my receipts and a shot of pending INK transactions. There's a note on each receipt saying "Item is currently on promotion." Maybe that just refers to the refund; I'm sure others here would know.

Unfortunately for me when I showed up 2 min after the place opened there werent any there. Someone already probably hid them yesterday or day before. Guess thats what I get for playing fair

Same thing happened to me with the last MC deal. I don't know if anyone is hiding anything, my Staples is just bad about restocking. Half the time when the rack is empty they have an unopened pack behind the CS counter.

yea i know that issue, but there were a bunch a few weeks ago during the MC one. also i asked if there were any elsewhere and the CS said now

Good chance those cards you brought aren't properly activated... Did you check the balance?

One of my Staples only had 50 for me. They said they ordered 100 but for some reason only received 50.

I give almost all of them to my (receipt info) neighbors who are school teachers. A lot of their students can't afford basic school supplies. I prefer the rebates for Stables GC's.

Did anyone else here have the same experience as dealchaser? My staples is billing it correctly with the fee. I'm wondering if it's a fluke at his staples. Maybe his cards weren't even activated... Anyone else?

I'm trying to verify the balance as we speak, but GoWallet is crawling along and severals users on Twitter report they are unable to log on at all.

It could very well have been a fluke at the register - the cashier seemed to have difficulty scanning the first couple. So thanks for the heads up. I'll report back when I know more.

+1 The 800 number on the card packet will tell you the balance as well.
