Laptop battery needs replacement- Amex SPG?

I purchased my laptop about 16 months ago with my spg amex, and  I have never used the warrenty feature on my card before. Recently, my laptop started showing that my battery needs replacement. Can I have it taken care of by SPG Amex? How do I go about it? Thanks!

If you have a 1 year warranty from the company then I would assume that it should be covered by Amex for a additional year.
Call them up and ask them they are usually very accommodating.
