You can also "churn-baby-churn" your way through. See the CC board for more info on this.

Credit card churning is a nice hobby, but don't count on it to pay the bills.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Here's a good place to look:
http://www.orensmoneysaver.com/
Hatzlocha!

Thanks. My only concern is that if everyone buys from their ideas to resell, it's way too competitive.

The last mishna in Kdushin says;
ויתפלל למי שהעשר והנכסים שלו
שאין אמנות שאין בה עניות ועשירות
שלא עניות מן האמנות ולא עשירות מן האמנות
אלא הכל לפי זכותו

So what you need to do is think of a line which you would enjoy and would fit you (that's what the חובת הלבבות writes) and try your best and hope to hashem for the best!

Much of hatzlucha in whatever you'll do!

Currently I just need the bills paid. Emunah is hard when the bills pile up and there are non skills to fall back on.

Still trying to figure it out :D

Of course; it's only a starting point...

Probably should have thought of this before you got married, but better late than never.

Think long term,  what do you want to do. If college is needed,  consider student loans and/or a part time job during school.

I didn't say you should sit at home and Emunah will bring you money*, I was referring to your  question of which line you should be doing.

*Reminds me of what the previous Satmar rabbi (Bierach moshe) once said;
Parshes Ha'mun only helps when you say it on the train 8:00AM...

Also see the basement business thread for some awesome ideas.
I think we came out that weed was the best way to go in that thread.

He doesn't want to take out student loans because it wasn't guaranteed income.

This seems to be the answer for everyone trying to make a living these days.

I don't sell myself, but from what I hear it is extremely competitive, very long hours and is not for the faint of heart.

Please cmiiw.
I'm not at all saying its the best out there.
But 1. It sure can pay bills with not that much work.
2. If he is starting is business by asking here than it may just be perfect for him

The easiest/best way to learn a business is by working in that - or a related - business.  99% of people that try starting a business from the ground up, without any finanacial or business knowledge base are destined to fail.  If it was that easy everyone would do it.

Interesting. I wonder if this is fact.
