Any way I can set a specific URL to be the default for any new tabs I open?

in settings

Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

No built-in way. You can try an extension like New Tab Redirect https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/new-tab-redirect/icpgjfneehieebagbmdbhnlpiopdcmna
in settings
chrome://settings/onStartup
That's to set what comes up when you open the browser, not every new tab.

You can also try the likes of Toby which can replace the new tab space.

Could be 6 years old, but if nobody told me about it, I never would know :)

Indeed. I have been using Chrome daily for years, and never remember them telling me I could do that. If they did, it clearly wasn't in a way that I would've seen. They should notify people in a better way.

Perhaps you only updated now?

Here I thought one learns by asking questions, but I got wrong everything got to be fed to me on a silver platter.

I believe Edge had this feature first.
Any way I can set a specific URL to be the default for any new tabs I open?
Should be able to do that with Chrome GPOs. Can definitely do that with Edge GPOs.

Has anyone else found that "Copy link address" does not work consistently?

Why do they hide what the hotkeys are when you right-click? (I'm used to Firefox.)
Do you want to play a board game, digitally or in Lakewood NJ? PM me. (Can be asynchronous, i.e. take turns whenever)

No issue here

Perhaps because you can Google it? ;)
