AA switched my reservation how to proceed?

I had  flights booked with a friday connection in YYZ, landing in LGA at 11 am. They cancelled the 9:30am flight and put me (4 tickets) on the 11:25 flight landing after 1pm. That's  too close to shabbos for me. My question is would they honor a connection using another airline? If yes would it only be on partner airlines? I booked these flights using my prestige card @ 1.6 cpp, so as far as  AA is concerned its a full revenue flight.

Sorry we left you hanging...I don't have any experience with this specific example, but I wonder if AA might even put you on a non-stop flight. You didn't mention your originating airport.  If these are revenue tickets, and maybe if you have some status, and you explain the whole Shabbos thing to them, maybe they'll accede?

Originating in YEG (Edmonton) there are no direct flights.
