My understanding is that IB doesn't allow any changes or cancellations to partner award tickets.
And RT required.
Hardly seems worth the savings.

BA has raised taxes from ~$8 to ~$28 (CAD) on partner redemptions on Canadian accounts.

Changing your address to anything in the US brings it back down to $5.60

Per TPG AA flights from MIA to Cuba were not affected by this rule, would price at 4,500.
