Samsung Pay is the best thing since sliced bread. No NFC compatibility required on the merchant's end. Can be used with any magnetic stripe reader.

I used it today. Faster than taking out your wallet, removing your card and swiping.

The shock on the face of the cashier at KRM when I nonchalantly put my phone near the scanner and it went through in a quarter of a second. Faster than I was able to catch that it just went thorough.

You put it near the swipe slot. it has the technology that the machine gets the info as if a card was swiped. No compatibility required. That's what's amazing in the technology that Samsung bought. Most stores don't have NFC readers.
I love the shocked faces of the cashiers in the few stores that I used it. "How did you do it?" "What did you just do?"
