Package shipped to wrong address

I placed an order online at the Microsoft store and later realized that i had it shipped to my old (apartment) address. Called MS and they say that the package is already preparing for shipment and ask me to change the delivery with UPS. UPS mychoice is not allowing me to change the delivery as i have my current address registered with mychoice. Any suggestions? TIA

contact the person living at your old address

see if they will accept the packager for you

contact ups have them " refuse delivery " in route ( I have done it with fedex )

The shipper must change the address-- ask microsoft to cancel the current order and place a new order with the correct address

Got into a conf. call with MS and UPS and arranged for pick up at a nearby UPS location. Thanks for you inputs.
