What to eat for lunch?
« on: October 30, 2015, 03:08:22 PM »
I need ideas of what I could take to work to eat for lunch.

Typically I would just go out to eat and grab something, but I'm trying to not do that anymore.

Anyone have any ideas that are not too messy, and will fill me up?

Take a wrap, put some sauce or salsa and pepperjack cheese in it (and some veggies if you like), microwave for a minute.
Yummy hot or cold.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I have a mini crock pot that is amazing for this. It's very small and you take that little metal bowl home and fill it every day.
Also, sandwiches and salads are super easy. I also don't mind eating schnitzel cold.

If you are looking for a lunch that will fill you up, try preparing two items like a sandwich+soup, pasta+salad, chicken nuggets+rice, tuna+french fries.

Single-item lunches will leave you wanting more.

Since someone mentioned the crock pot idea, why not bring a rice cooker?

If you have a microwave at work, freeze leftover soup in small containers

Considering the amount of Jews on this forum and the fact that this thread is about food, one would think there would be a lot more posts....... ???

I mean, our holidays tend to be themed.... "They tried to kill us, we won, lets eat"
