Why are some small businesses that were on the list last year not on it this year?

Its not always accurate.

I bought something at a store that I know I got credit at last year, and then I checked the map and it wasent listed.....so I went to chat with AMEX and they said its not the same list. But why would a store get taken off....its not like they became a chain...

I don't think it was enforced though... Lots of small stores didn't register but got credits there for shopping.

No. I have gotten credits at stores that never even heard of SBS, and weren't on the map.

Are they giving you the credit or not ?

no they said if its not on the map I wouldnt get credit, but they also said that after the promotion is over I can call back and "they would see what they could do"

so Im guessing I would get it, but not automatically, I would have to call
