Usually any small business that's not part of a chain works. There could always be an exception.

Deffinetly a good indication, but some that worked last year aren't on the map this year. Then again I've always had the credits post regardless.

IDK - I asked manager if he registered and he said he didn't this year because he thought it was cancelled. I called amex to manually credit me but they wouldn't since they're not on the map even though they were last year. So I went back to the store and he credited back my card.
